Specifications

Could you Live in this space for a few years ?

She is a 60 foot fully self-contained and apportioned Bermudan Cutter Rigged Sloop, weighing in at just under 30 tons (easily handle heavy weather) with two main cabins, one watch cabin, Full Galley with Vertical Refrigerator/Freezer plus an in-counter chest freezer, Water Maker (produces drinking water from Sea water), clothes Washer and Dryer, sleeps a total of 6 people, lots of storage and cabinet space...

As you can see from the above photos, she is a beauty IN the water, but needs a little TLC under the waterline.

A complete scrubbing, sanding, and repainting, but that's a good thing, because we could then make her the colors WE choose.    And I honestly believe that in working with each other side by side at the beginning of our journey shall serve a greater purpose, to build our relationship, and strengthen us as a team, plus - I'm sure we could make it FUN Work...

The sense of accomplishment done together, the added knowledge about OUR boat and how she is built, and just becoming closer as a Couple.

And will likely help ME with the weight loss goal...

The only preparation expenses beyond that will be the updates and upgrades to the Navigation and Communications Systems, and the addition of those things WE desire; an electric flattop cooking range (to cut down on Propane usage, and increase safety), a Breathing-Air Compressor to fill our Dive Tanks with at ANY time we want, and whatever else would make this OUR Home.

And personally, I would like to have a FLS (Forward Looking Sonar) for safety when navigating shallow waters, like those up close to a Tropical Island.

All this, including the cost of the vessel, and the first 6-months to a year of cruising, adventuring and exploring should come to no more than $500k USD.

And the above is where I need YOUR help, accomplishing this dream for US.

And THE BOAT would be OURS !!!

She is currently in Dry-Dock in Greece, so that would mean getting there, but would also mean that we could take some time for ourselves during the prep-process and explore the sights, the people, and the cuisine of a Beautiful Country, before 'splashing' our Yacht and continuing on to other other ports...

And if we started this process NOW, we could quite possibly be sailing by the start of next Cruising Season in April of 2025 !
